1st Communication in the Digital Age Symposium

CIDA International is an international symposium organized jointly by the Communication Research Association (ILAD), which was founded in 1989, and the Communication Faculty Deans Council (ILDEK), formed by the deans of communication faculties operating in Turkey and abroad since 2000, depending on the Turkish higher education system.

Digital age conduces radical changes in the field of communication. Besides conventional ones, new mediums get involve in our daily lives with different narrations. Today, new paradigms have emerged as a result of convergence.  International Symposium on Communication in The Digital Age aims to discuss this process in interdisciplinary perspective together with its conceptual and practical consequences.

International Symposium on Communication in The Digital Age, hosted by Mersin University Faculty of Communication, is being held on October 18-19, 2018 by collaboration of MEU Faculty of Communication, Communication Research Association (ILAD), and Deans Council of Communication Faculties (ILDEK). The symposium aims to provide an academic environment that scholars, researchers and postgraduate students come together; new ideas from different perspectives are presented; studies and knowledge are shared. We invite you to International Symposium on Communication in The Digital Age (CIDA) intended to be held traditionally by ILDEK.
